As part of BMKQ’s membership expansion target for this year, the Membership Committee and Education and Training Committee organized a Pre-Membership Orientation Seminar (PMOS) on Friday, 03 June 2022 at DusitD2 Hotel. Ms. Cheryl Marielou V. Cayaban – a faculty member of BMKQ’s Education and Training Committee presented and facilitated the said PMOS. Eleven new members took their oath of membership before BMKQ Adviser – Engr. Ressie Fos.
The seminar was a preliminary part of the graduation ceremony on BMKQ’s Basic Dressmaking Course organized for women migrant workers by BMKQ’s Welfare and Outreach Committee and BMKQ Women – an initiative which focuses on empowerment of women in trades.
