Workers Education & Development
Education and Soft Skills Trainings for members to upgrade their competencies. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is conducted to determine members equipping, career and social development needs in various aspects. BMKQ has already conducted more than a hundred of trainings benefiting over 500 members.
Paralegal Services and Advocacies
Paralegal services and assistance to all members, guidance and referral to competent authorities. BMKQ has conducted batches of trainings producing paralegal volunteers, who were able to assist over 300 cases already. Moreover, BMKQ is a member of Ministry of Labor’s Community Leaders Forum (CLF) which provides platform between the officials of the Labor Department and leaders of various communities in Qatar to discuss updates and concerns related to workers’ welfare, and related laws and policies.
Occupational Safety & Health
Promotes and advocates on Occupational Safety and Health among workers and employers. BMKQ integrates OSH in its training and advocacy programs to promote observance and compliance with health and safety standards in workplaces, in collaboration with government authorities and other organizations. This endeavor of the organization extends not only to workers from the construction, but also from other sectors such as household and hospitality.
