In recent endeavors of BMKQ’s leadership to maximize potential benefits the organization can give its members, a collaboration agreement was forged between BMKQ and LBC Express – Qatar, which aims at providing special discounts to BMKQ members on air freight and sea cargo shipments through LBC Qatar.
“As Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), it is always are hopes and desire to express our love for our family back home, by regularly sending them anything from chocolates, shoes, garments, electronic devices, and many more through balikbayan cargos. LBC Qatar understands these needs, and therefore forging its partnership with BMKQ so members can benefit from special discounts LBC is giving away.” said Mr. Jess D. Villaflor – Country Manager of LBC Express Qatar.
Mr. Villaflor added that members need to show valid BMKQ Membership ID only when sending their cargos in order to avail the said special discounts.
Meanwhile, LBC Express Qatar awarded discount vouchers to five (5) participants who topped the assessment as part of training evaluation during the BMKQ’s basic accounting and bookkeeping seminar held on Friday, June 11, 2022.
“The said partnership is considered a milestone in establishing networks for the benefit of the members.” said Engr. Meliza M. Ortiguerra – BMKQ President. She also hinted that more partnerships are underway, including partnership with training centers, medical service providers, and other commercial establishments through which BMKQ members can avail of many special benefits.
