As a non-religious organizations, BMKQ respects every member’s religious affiliation, faith and beliefs, and does not teach nor influence and engage in religious activities.
Non-Political
BMKQ is a non-partisan organization and does not engage in any political affairs and activities in Qatar.
About Us
Bayanihan ng Manggagawa sa Konstruksyon ng Qatar (BMKQ) was established on July 24, 2015 and received accreditation from the Philippine Embassy in Qatar, under Certificate of Accreditation No. WCS-016-2015. BMKQ is a non-profit organization of Filipino expatriates in Qatar working in the construction sector, which aims at promoting social, civic and spiritual well-being of members, emulation of the sense of responsibility and extension of help and collaborative efforts for members in need. BMKQ functions within the bounds of the laws of Qatar and the Philippines and partners with these governments’ agencies in carrying out community-based programs and services.
More specifically, BMKQ promotes the moral, social and economic well-being of members by carrying out programs, projects, and activities that will benefit them, in collaboration with other stakeholders such as the Philippine Embassy and Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Qatar, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Interior (MoI), and others.
